Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to determine individual needs and establish appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that may include exercise programs, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to optimize recovery.
• Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for injury prevention and enhanced overall health.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with organizational policies and standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participate in staff meetings, case discussions, and continuous professional development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients who have undergone surgeries, sustained injuries, or are managing chronic pain. Your clients will range from athletes seeking to return to play, to older adults aiming to maintain their independence. Building trusted relationships with your patients will be essential for motivating them and ensuring adherence to their rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• At least one year of clinical experience is required, preferably within an outpatient setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and team members.
• Ability to develop customized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a fast-paced, outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documenting patient care.
• Experience with diverse patient populations, particularly in sports rehabilitation, geriatric therapy, or post-operative recovery.
• Certification in specialized therapy techniques, such as manual therapy, dry needling, or gait analysis, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
