Sec Reporting Consultant
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Sec Reporting Consultant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $70.00 to $75.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review external financial reports to support regulatory filings and investor communications.
- Ensure all reporting complies with accounting standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Assist with internal reporting by preparing budget updates and responding to ad hoc analysis requests.
- Support audit processes by providing documentation and coordinating with internal and external auditors.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and enhance efficiency through automation and tools.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting with an active CPA license.
- Must have 3+ years of public accounting experience with exposure to external reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Previous experience supporting financial statement preparation for public or regulated entities is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with solid research and documentation skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with enterprise financial systems.
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex financial information clearly.
- Detail oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Organized and proactive work style with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
