Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Utilize automated symptom self-assessments and goal progress measures to evaluate treatment efficacy and make adjustments as necessary, ensuring client improvement and satisfaction.

• Maintain efficient, accurate clinical documentation using our digital therapist portal, which supports not only streamlined documentation but also holistic client management.
\n
• Engage in ongoing support and collaboration with the Therapy Leadership Team for case consultation and professional guidance, fostering a culture of shared knowledge.

• Formulate accurate mental health diagnoses following the DSM V standards, ensuring that each diagnosis is comprehensive and well-considered.
\n
• Develop treatment plans that align with established practice guidelines, offering therapy, therapeutic counseling, and vital educational resources to clients.
\n
• Implement diverse therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavior modification, and brief therapy methodologies, tailored to clients’ unique needs.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatric providers and fellow therapists within the growing Gentle Counseling community to create a holistic approach to client treatment.

• Provide weekly evidence-based therapy sessions via live video, addressing a wide array of emotional disorders and fostering resilience in our adult client population.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will predominantly focus on adult clients facing various emotional disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. A core aspect of your work will involve creating a safe, trusting therapeutic environment that promotes open dialogue and healing. You will be expected to adapt your approach based on each client's cultural background and life circumstances, supporting overall well-being through culturally responsive care.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• An independent state license in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC). Additional state licenses are a significant advantage.

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).
