Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, gathering vital information to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop, monitor, and adapt personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations and client goals.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions for adult clients, employing evidence-based and solution-focused methodologies tailored to unique individual needs.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively to facilitate virtual sessions, leveraging the latest digital tools to ensure a seamless experience for both you and your clients.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary, using your expertise to support clients in immediate distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele consists primarily of adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions specifically related to aging. By focusing on individualized care, you will address various mental health needs targeting each client’s unique situation and circumstances. Your work will empower clients to process their experiences and achieve their therapeutic goals effectively.

Qualifications

• A valid and current mental health license such as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Strong empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude are essential for effective counselor-client interactions.
• Highly organized with excellent time-management capabilities to balance caseload efficiently.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your license, ensuring professional integrity and accountability.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome all qualified applicants, experience in telehealth practices is a strong advantage. Familiarity with therapy management software or platforms can enhance your ability to deliver timely and efficient client care. Previous experience in community-based mental health settings or geriatric populations is also beneficial.
