Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through secure video platforms, addressing emotional, psychological, and relational issues.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate meaningful client progress, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and systems theory approaches.

• Assess client needs with comprehensive evaluations to identify underlying issues, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Establish a supportive, non-judgmental therapeutic environment that promotes open dialogue, effective communication, and exploration of difficult emotional topics.

• Guide families through crisis situations, including domestic violence, grief, substance abuse, and conflict resolution, offering appropriate interventions and support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions, treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes in compliance with organizational and legal standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and continuing education courses to enhance therapeutic techniques and stay updated on the latest research in the field.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, as needed, to provide comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of clients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
