Corporate Associate - Private Equity Investment Management/Funds

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate with expertise in Private Equity and Investment Management to join their team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in corporate transactional work, focusing on investment management and private funds. Duties Draft sophisticated investment management and fund-related documents. Advise investment managers on regulatory compliance obligations. Negotiate and document strategic joint ventures and financings. Prepare and review investment management agreements and private placement memoranda. Requirements 3-6 years of investment management and private fund formation experience. Excellent technical, professional, and client service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration. Effective problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently. Bar admission in good standing in the jurisdiction of practice. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction. Skills Experience with investment adviser regulatory matters. Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents. Ability to develop creative solutions to meet client needs.
