Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments for patients entering the detox program and creating individualized treatment plans that adhere to best practices and solution-oriented approaches.

• Providing psychotherapy to patients utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet their specific circumstances and preferences.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records to ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, facilitating effective communication among treatment team members.

• Playing a key role in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with fellow mental health professionals to design effectively integrated treatment strategies for our patients.

• Facilitating educational sessions for patients and their families on topics related to mental health, substance use disorders, and available community resources to improve patient empowerment.

• Staying current with mental health trends, innovations in therapeutic practices, and any relevant regulatory updates to continually refine your clinical approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will serve a diverse patient population predominantly focused on individuals undergoing detoxification and struggling with substance use. This includes adolescents and adults from various socioeconomic backgrounds, presenting a broad spectrum of emotional and behavioral challenges. Your ability to establish rapport and provide culturally competent care will be crucial in helping clients navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
