Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions virtually, employing evidence-based practices tailored to address different mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Collaborate extensively with clients to create personalized treatment plans, focusing on their unique goals and promoting overall well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their immediate safety and connecting them to necessary resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements, utilizing electronic health record systems efficiently.

• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork by coordinating care plans with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients’ mental health journeys.

• Stay current with developments in the mental health field through ongoing education and professional training, aiming to integrate the latest best practices into therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Aurora Insight, you will work primarily with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults from various socioeconomic backgrounds. You will be instrumental in providing culturally competent and affirming care, understanding the unique challenges each client presents based on their individual life experiences and identities.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in Oregon as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, or eligibility for licensure in the state.

• Demonstrated experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, with a preference for experience in a remote setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with diverse clients effectively.

• Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of clients.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is USD 100,000 to 105,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
