Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to gather information.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific goals and assess client progress through ongoing evaluations.

• Maintain thorough and detailed clinical records, documenting medical and psychological histories, assessments, treatment plans, and client outcomes in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support for clients experiencing acute mental health episodes, coordinating care as necessary.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and available community resources, fostering informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, case managers, and social service agencies to ensure that clients have access to comprehensive support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counseling services cater to a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance abuse challenges. We also provide support to families dealing with relational issues, parenting concerns, and other stressors impacting their wellbeing. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of California is essential.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with clients, showing empathy and understanding in a virtual setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting providing counseling services is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
