Work Environment\n

This role will primarily involve telehealth services, allowing flexibility and convenience for both you and your clients. While you will be working from home, you may occasionally interact with colleagues in a climate-controlled office setting, facilitating collaboration and community among our team members. Daily responsibilities require movement throughout your work area and may involve standing, sitting, and engaging in thoughtful discussions over virtual platforms.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses, when necessary, using tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, to tailor individualized treatment plans reflective of each patient's cultural background and specific needs.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust therapeutic interventions and strategies to enhance the treatment outcomes.

• Utilize modern technology to prepare and maintain accurate treatment records, ensuring all documentation aligns with regulatory requirements and departmental protocols.

• Collaborate effectively with patients and their families to create a comprehensive and culturally sensitive treatment plan that addresses their unique circumstances and desired outcomes.

• Respond proactively to patient needs and concerns, delivering timely interventions aimed at enhancing safety and symptom management.

• Act as a liaison between patients and other healthcare providers, coordinating referrals and establishing strong working relationships with various clinicians and agencies.

• Provide guidance and education to interns, volunteers, and other learners, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

• Under supervision, participate in peer reviews, clinical audits, and constructive feedback sessions to promote team member development and bolster the quality of care.

You will primarily serve individuals and families dealing with the psychological and emotional ramifications of cancer. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
