This full-time position operates in a fully remote setting, providing flexibility while working from the comfort of your home. You will have the opportunity to reach clients from various backgrounds and demographics in Newark, New Jersey, and beyond, using virtual platforms that facilitate easy communication and therapy sessions. Our user-friendly therapist portal makes documentation straightforward, ensuring you can dedicate your time to what matters most – your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and psychodynamic approaches in a virtual format.
• Collaborate effectively with Brightside psychiatric providers to enhance comprehensive treatment plans, and engage with fellow therapists within a supportive community.
• Utilize automated symptom self-assessments and maintain goal progress measures to adapt treatment plans proactively based on client feedback and progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation through our intuitive therapist portal, ensuring compliance with all HIPAA regulations to protect clients' confidential information.
• Engage in continuous dialogue with the Therapy Leadership Team, seeking support, supervision, and consultation as needed to enhance your practice.
• Develop comprehensive assessments and personalized treatment plans, ensuring measurable outcomes for each client you see.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will provide compassionate and empathetic talk therapy primarily for individuals aged 13 and up and couples, addressing a range of emotional disorders. Our clientele is diverse, requiring you to establish rapport and adjust your therapeutic approach to cater to clients' unique cultural backgrounds and life experiences. Your role is pivotal in supporting clients as they confront challenges and facilitate their journey toward improved mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active State license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Proven ability to work independently while also collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster rapport with clients from varied cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing therapy in an outpatient setting, preferably with a focus on evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits
