Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess clients’ mood disorder symptoms, focusing on intensity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with individual goals and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate therapeutic progress.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

• Stay current with research findings related to mood disorders to enhance the effectiveness of treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will focus primarily on individuals dealing with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will also have the opportunity to support vulnerable populations, including the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your work will not only help clients manage their conditions but also empower them to cultivate resilience and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

Family Guidance & Pediatric Centers offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
