Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions, adapting your approach based on the diverse issues presented by clients.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards while utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, including workshops and training on current trends and research in mental health.

• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care, leveraging the strengths of a multidisciplinary team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will primarily consist of individuals and families from underserved communities in the Thousand Oaks area. Many of our clients face unique challenges, such as socioeconomic barriers, trauma, substance misuse, and family dynamics, necessitating a compassionate and tailored approach to therapy. Your work will play a critical role in providing healing and support to those who need it most.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly within clinical settings.

• A strong foundation in legal and ethical standards related to mental health practices.

• Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with a diverse client population.
