Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique objectives.

• Utilize evidence-based therapy modalities to diagnose mental health conditions and deliver effective therapy sessions in individual, couples, family, and group settings.

• Regularly monitor client progress, ensuring that treatment plans are adjusted based on clients' evolving needs.

• Facilitate supportive group sessions, including parent support groups focusing on the complexities of adoption and the unique needs of children exposed to substances prenatally.

• Maintain thorough clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will involve engaging with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. Specifically, working with families undergoing transitions, such as adoption, requires a deep understanding of attachment dynamics and trauma-informed care. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.

• Must hold a valid and active LMFT license in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
