Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions while collaborating closely with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient support.

• Perform thorough assessments and provide appropriate observations as outlined in treatment plans. This includes real-time monitoring of clients' emotional and psychological states during sessions.

• Orient patients and their families to our services and procedures to help ease any concerns they may have about engaging in therapy.

• Assist clients with personal needs and ensure they are actively participating in their therapeutic processes when indicated.

• Document patient progress and any significant behavior changes clearly and promptly by completing progress notes at the end of each session.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of assigned patients’ treatment goals to facilitate effective counseling and advocacy for additional services when needed.

• Demonstrate exceptional time management abilities, ensuring that all duties are executed accurately and timely.

• Respond to crises effectively by assessing risk factors and providing immediate support as necessary, utilizing skills from prior training.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Possession of an independent license is mandatory, with accepted credentials including LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW – provisional licenses will not be considered.

• Ability to conduct professional evaluations, formulate treatment recommendations, and execute personalized treatment plans with clients.

• Strong interpersonal skills complemented by a genuinely empathetic demeanor to foster therapeutic relationships with clients.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary between $120,000 and $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and professional qualifications.
