Conversational Voice Specialist (Mandarin) | Remote

## Role Overview

We are looking for a **Conversational Voice Specialist** with native or near-native Mandarin proficiency to support the development of next-generation AI voice and language technologies. You will record natural, conversational speech that helps improve speech recognition, conversational AI, and voice-enabled applications.

This is a remote, project-based opportunity for individuals with clear pronunciation, natural communication skills, and strong attention to detail.

## Responsibilities

* Record conversational scripts, prompts, and dialogues in Mandarin.
* Deliver natural, engaging, and consistent voice recordings.
* Follow recording guidelines, pronunciation standards, and project instructions.
* Adapt speaking style, pace, and tone to match different conversational scenarios.
* Review recordings for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission.
* Meet project deadlines and recording targets.
* Report any script or technical issues to the project team.

## Requirements

* Native or near-native proficiency in **Standard Mandarin (Putonghua)**.
* Proficient in spoken and written **English** to understand project instructions and communicate with the team.
* Excellent pronunciation, articulation, and vocal clarity.
* Ability to read scripts naturally and accurately.
* Reliable internet connection.
* Access to a quiet recording environment.
* Basic computer skills and ability to use web-based recording platforms.
* Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.

## Preferred Qualifications

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

* Customer service or contact center
* Voice-over or narration
* Broadcasting or podcasting
* Language teaching
* Translation or interpretation
* Linguistics
* AI speech or language data collection projects

Professional voice recording experience is an advantage but not required.
