Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of patients.

• Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups through telehealth, facilitating therapeutic discussions around mental health challenges.

• Instruct and counsel patients and their families on adherence to treatment and medication regimens.
\n
• Prepare detailed intake summaries, treatment plans, and progress notes while maintaining confidential records per state and NCQA regulations.

• Engage in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation to improve patient care and treatment outcomes.
\n
• Utilize community resources to support patients and their families, offering referrals when necessary.
\n
• Report safety concerns as mandated and participate in the department's on-call rotation when required.
\n
• Supervise Post-Masters Fellows or Associate Clinical Social Workers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing acute or chronic mental illness, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological concerns. You will work with a diverse patient population, emphasizing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to mental health treatment. Understanding each individual’s circumstances will be crucial in building therapeutic alliances and tailoring interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in a behavioral science or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Demonstrated ability to comply with departmental standards and both local and federal regulations to ensure patient privacy and high-quality care.
