Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Safe Horizon Recovery Facility, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering comprehensive individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of clients.

• Conducting initial assessments to gather detailed information regarding client histories and treatment needs, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.

• Developing, implementing, and updating individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their support systems.
\n
• Actively participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings to contribute insights and recommendations that enhance overall client care and treatment outcomes.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of clinical notes, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with industry regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. Our patient demographic includes a diverse range of individuals seeking support for various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. You will provide a safe and confidential space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, empowering them to achieve their recovery goals.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• A current, valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science as a LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or in a relevant field.

• Proven ability to engage with and support clients from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is required, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Prior experience working in telehealth or remote therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
