Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, this role offers flexibility and convenience, allowing you to provide patient care from the comfort of your own home. Utilizing our state-of-the-art telehealth platform, you will connect with clients across diverse demographics, ensuring accessibility for all. While you will manage your own schedule primarily from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate fluctuating patient needs and schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments through virtual consultations to evaluate patients' trauma history and establish tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic strategies aimed at promoting trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Deliver high-quality therapy that not only aids in processing trauma but also equips clients with coping strategies and practical tools for everyday life.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care approaches for each patient.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies or acute distress situations.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available coping mechanisms, and community resources to promote ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to both legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on enhancing trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed on the latest research, best practices, and developments in trauma therapy to ensure optimal care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly focus on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You'll engage with a diverse client base, providing culturally competent and respectful care tailored to each individual's unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience delivering mental health services preferred, with a focus on trauma-informed approaches.

• Strong knowledge base concerning trauma-related disorders, treatments, and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach essential for effective therapeutic relationships.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress scenarios.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a comfort for computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative spirit with readiness to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desired.

Compensation and Benefits\n
