Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop client-centered treatment plans that align with individual therapeutic goals.

• Provide therapy sessions via telehealth platforms ensuring a HIPAA-compliant environment.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, EMDR, or TF-CBT, to address client issues effectively.

• Collaborate with a variety of community resources and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

• Document all client interactions and maintain confidential records using EHR software, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in continuous education opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with emerging trends in therapy.

• Perform outreach and advocacy as needed to promote the mental health services provided by Great Valley Psychotherapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be working primarily with a diverse demographic that includes children, adolescents, and adults, all of whom bring their unique cultural backgrounds and experiences. Your sensitivity to each family’s individual context will be crucial in tailoring your approach to their specific needs and concerns. You will assist clients dealing with trauma, relationship issues, and various mental health conditions, providing a safe space for them to express themselves and develop resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
\n
• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of New York.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide bilingual services in both Spanish and English.
\n
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting working with diverse client groups.
\n
• Culturally competent with respect for individual differences and an understanding of various family dynamics.
\n
• Experience working with clients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
\n
• Comfortable providing services as an in-network provider for at least one insurance panel.
\n
• Proficient in using EHR software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software applications.

• Must hold a valid Driver's License and car insurance, willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Training in therapeutic modalities like EMDR, CBT, and TF-CBT, with a strong motivation for learning short-term therapy skills.

• Demonstrated ability to perform self-examination and maintain professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n
