Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with a strong focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building for each patient.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Delivering engaging individual and group therapy sessions that facilitate patient coping strategies, trauma processing, and overall healing.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for our patients.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective assistance.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower their recovery journey.

• Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your work will primarily be with individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role is pivotal in helping these patients develop healthy coping strategies and navigate their healing path. Your expertise will create a safe and trusting therapeutic alliance, crucial for effective mental health recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, allowing you to bring depth and confidence to your therapeutic practice.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.

• The ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high-stress situations, ensuring client needs are prioritized.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, as well as general computer applications necessary for remote therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
