Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients. \n Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, goals, and preferences. \n Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support client progress. \n Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies. \n Monitor client progress throughout therapy, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. \n Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care for clients. \n Stay informed about current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapeutic efficacy. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n As a Telehealth LMFT at Dutchess Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse population that includes adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health issues. You will provide individual and group therapy sessions, addressing a range of conditions from anxiety and depression to complex trauma. Your compassionate approach will help clients realize their potential for change and recovery. Qualifications\n \n Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required. \n Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. \n Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and struggles. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working in a telehealth environment and familiarity with digital therapy platforms. \n Knowledge of additional therapeutic modalities is a plus. \n Proficiency in tailoring treatment approaches to meet the varied needs of different client populations. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience, along with performance bonuses.
