About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Fund Accounting to lead and oversee fund accounting operations, ensuring strict compliance with U.S. GAAP and fostering collaboration with both internal teams and external administrators. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating NAV finalization processes, investigating discrepancies, and managing relationships with fund administrators for private fund structures. This role involves the preparation and review of financial statements, regulatory reporting, and investor communications, as well as the development and implementation of procedures to optimize fund accounting operations and enhance compliance with industry standards. Applicants for the AVP of Fund Accounting position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA certification being preferred. A minimum of 6 years' of relevant fund accounting experience, particularly within private fund structures, is required. Proficiency in U.S. GAAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, and experience with specific accounting software such as Enfusion and Sage Intacct is highly desirable. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A positive team player attitude, a strong work ethic, and knowledge of credit fund structures and regulatory reporting are also key attributes for the ideal candidate.
