Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Collaboratively working with a dedicated healthcare team to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique psychosocial needs of our patients.

• Performing thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate patient needs, then implementing appropriate social work interventions while maintaining meticulous clinical and progress notes in compliance with department policies.

• Counseling patients and providing crisis intervention, including strategies for effective treatment of emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Engaging with patients’ families and support systems to facilitate discussions around client treatment options and discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support patients in a hospice setting who are facing terminal illnesses. Understanding the complexity of emotional and psychological needs during this time is crucial. Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience as a social worker, with a strong emphasis on mental health or hospice care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work and Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State is essential.

• Proficient computer skills, with experience in electronic medical records, word processing, spreadsheets, and email communication.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment amidst evolving priorities.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum qualifications are essential, candidates with additional training or certifications in trauma-informed care, grief counseling, or similar areas will be highly regarded. Experience working in a hospice or palliative care setting, as well as knowledge of local health services and resources, will further enhance your ability to serve our patients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
