Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories and current physical conditions to establish a foundation for treatment.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices to address diagnosed movement dysfunctions.
• Teach patients techniques for self-management and therapeutic exercises to enhance recovery and prevent re-injury.
• Utilize various modalities, such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, and functional training, to stimulate healing and improve patient outcomes.
• Assist patients with adaptive equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices, while educating them on effective usage.
• Maintain detailed patient documentation to track progress, update treatment goals, and facilitate communication with other healthcare professionals.
• Provide guidance and counseling to patients and their families regarding at-home treatment strategies and exercises.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state Physical Therapy license to practice in Florida is mandatory.
• At least three years of experience in Orthopedic Therapy, with a proven track record of effectively treating musculoskeletal conditions.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to employ various therapeutic modalities and techniques for maximizing patient benefits.

Preferred Experience
