Work Environment\n

This position is remote, offering flexibility while still allowing for significant interaction with clients and collaboration with our multidisciplinary team. The work schedule will typically run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring work-life balance while addressing the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the symptoms and severity of mood disorders in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and preferences.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.

• Stay informed about new research and therapeutic advances related to mood disorders to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work towards reducing the stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our diverse clientele ranges from adolescents to adults, each with unique stories and challenges. As an LMFT, you will be responsible for cultivating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages open dialogue and healing.
