Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, adjusting the plan as necessary based on client feedback and progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients through their healing journeys.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a space for clients to process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses the diverse needs of clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and stability.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, enhancing their understanding and equipping them with tools for recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals affected by trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse group of clients, helping them navigate their emotional landscapes and recover from the profound effects of trauma. The therapeutic relationship you build will be vital in encouraging clients to share their experiences and progress toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, especially focused on trauma therapy.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.

• Ability to remain calm and thoughtful in high-stress situations, displaying resilience and empathy.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications to ensure efficient workflow.

Compensation and Benefits\n
