Account Manager, Consumables & Instruments (NYC Metro))

Azenta Life Sciences seeks an Account Manager to drive sales of consumables and instruments in the Northeast region. The role involves managing customer accounts, conducting presentations, and developing new business opportunities while working independently with frequent travel.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop accounts within assigned Northeast territory
- Conduct customer presentations on storage, tracking, PCR, and sealing products
- Handle complex sales opportunities and direct customer relationships
- Collaborate with other product line representatives on comprehensive solutions
- Develop new leads independently and support distribution representatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology or life sciences
- 5+ years account management experience selling in lab environments
- Proven track record meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Knowledge of sample storage and molecular biology markets preferred
- Strong business acumen, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Valid driver's license
Compensation: $98,000-$117,000 base plus $50,000-$65,000 uncapped incentive target, car allowance, full benefits and 401k match
