Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments of new patients and their families to understand their unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions that align with patients' identified needs, utilizing effective therapeutic techniques and evidence-based interventions.

• Efficiently complete documentation including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring compliance with organizational, state, and federal regulations.

• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans that support the sustainability of patients' mental health.

• As you assess patient progress, create and implement discharge plans that focus on maintaining stability and wellness beyond therapy.

• Stay abreast of current federal and state laws and guidelines, as well as organizational policies, to ensure the highest standard of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and continuing education initiatives to refine your skills.

• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to ensure the best collaborative outcomes for our patients.

• Fulfill all licensure and mandatory training requirements to maintain your professional standing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required, which leads to licensing as a mental health counselor.

While a minimum of two years of professional experience is required, candidates with additional experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient care, will be viewed favorably.
