Phoenix Rising Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. This full-time position invites experienced professionals to provide outpatient mental health services to diverse populations within the Vancouver, Washington area. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and families, identifying their unique needs and goals.
\n
• Provide tailored individual and family therapy sessions in accordance with evidence-based practices, ensuring that treatment is responsive to the evolving needs of each client.
\n
• Complete thorough documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorizations within specified time frames to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis intervention plans, safety and wellness plans, and relapse prevention strategies to support clients during critical moments.
\n
• Create and implement effective discharge plans to ensure clients have the resources they need when moving on from therapy.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current federal and state mental health laws, as well as practices and procedures established by NEHS.
\n
• Engage in ongoing training and continuing education to enhance professional competencies and clinical skills.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultation and agency meetings, contributing knowledge and insights from your experiences.
\n
• Complete all licensure maintenance and mandatory training requirements to provide the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals and families facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Our clients are from various backgrounds and age groups, requiring a counselor who can tailor therapeutic approaches to meet different cultural and personal contexts. The primary focus is on empowering clients to achieve stable functioning and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure in Washington State as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a mental health counseling setting, preferably in outpatient care.

• Demonstrated experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities and approaches tailored to different client needs.

• Experience working in a remote environment and familiarity with telehealth practices is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
