Work Environment\n

This full-time position operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, enabling our therapists to connect with patients from the comfort of their homes. The role requires availability Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; while the primary schedule is set, some flexibility may be necessary to meet patient scheduling needs, providing our therapists with the chance to adjust working hours as per client convenience.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to form a comprehensive understanding of each patient's unique circumstances and experiences.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, considering the patient’s cultural and personal context.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering mental wellness, resilience, and practical coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other allied health professionals to create a holistic treatment approach for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support in mental health emergencies, prioritizing safety and effective resolutions.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, available treatment options, and pertinent community resources to enhance overall understanding and support.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential records of patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Actively engage in team-based activities, including case conferences, team meetings, and professional development workshops centered on cultural competency.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices to continuously evolve the therapeutic approaches utilized in your sessions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current, valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
\n
• A thorough understanding of diverse mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment methods tailored to varied cultural frameworks.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy in a manner that is both culturally responsive and effective.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention capabilities with proficiency in managing challenging situations with calmness and care.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering rapport with patients across diverse backgrounds.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to the healthcare sector.
\n
• A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical standards throughout the delivery of care.

• Capability to engage collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience within multicultural settings, particularly in outpatient mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
