Work Environment\n

This full-time position allows for a remote work setting, enabling you to deliver therapy and support from a safe and convenient location. Our outpatient office culture emphasizes collaboration and communication, providing you with the tools and support needed to succeed. Our work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with the potential for some evening hours on a rotating basis to accommodate client appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use issues, ensuring accurate identification of co-occurring disorders.

• Partner with clients to design individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions addressing both psychological and substance use needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques that enhance coping skills, develop relapse prevention strategies, and promote emotional regulation.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to provide comprehensive care that supports the overall well-being of clients.

• Implement regular substance use monitoring and utilize motivational interviewing methods to encourage client commitment to recovery goals.

• Educate clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use, highlighting the importance of adherence to treatment plans.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of treatment progress, interventions, and referrals to comply with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions to advance your skills in managing co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be primarily working with individuals grappling with the challenges of co-occurring mental health disorders and substance use issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face a variety of life circumstances. Your expertise will play a fundamental role in guiding them toward sustainable recovery and improved quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Experience and proficiency in evidence-based therapies related to co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A strong understanding of the complexities of mental health and substance use disorders and their interplay.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an emphasis on collaborative teamwork within an interdisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have prior experience working in outpatient settings, especially within integrated care teams, and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Experience with crisis intervention and familiarity with community resources for mental health and substance use treatment will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
