Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate the unique needs and experiences of each patient. Develop personalized treatment plans that respect their backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored specifically to the cultural and individual needs of patients. This may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other appropriate modalities.

• Deliver engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions that focus on overcoming mental health challenges while promoting resilience and holistic well-being.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care that synchronizes treatment approaches for optimal patient outcomes.

• Respond to mental health crises by offering timely crisis intervention and stabilizing support during emergencies.

• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, fostering greater understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation that aligns with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations pertaining to mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n
