Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough intake assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and challenges.

• Developing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, outlining personalized goals and objectives to enhance their therapeutic journey.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Regularly monitoring and documenting client progress towards established treatment goals to ensure effectiveness and adapt plans as necessary.

• Coordinating care with other health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic and comprehensive support.

• Equipping clients’ families with education and resources to foster understanding and active participation in the recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing mental health counseling to a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
