Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Remote Mental Health Counselor

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand the needs and conditions of clients, and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing best practices and solution-based strategies.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting approaches to suit the unique needs of each patient while closely monitoring their progress.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of clinical records to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide integrated care for clients.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to facilitate knowledge sharing and elevate the quality of care provided.
• Educate and empower clients and their families by providing resources and support to enhance their understanding of mental health issues.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mental health care to continuously improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, ranging from children to older adults, grappling with various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological disorders. You will have the opportunity to engage with individuals from different backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their specific cultural and personal needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• At least three years of clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy, demonstrating competence in delivering therapeutic interventions.
• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy methods and strong assessment skills.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities, necessary for effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary setting.
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in working within a community health clinic or similar setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and digital health tools to streamline patient interactions.

Compensation and Benefits
