Work Environment

This position offers a flexible work environment through telehealth services, allowing our LCSWs to seamlessly connect with patients remotely. Our innovative telemedicine platform facilitates meaningful engagements, ensuring that mental health services are accessible no matter where clients are located. The full-time role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with both telemedicine sessions and the possibility of in-person consultations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to accurately diagnose and evaluate clients’ mental health statuses.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address unique cultural and social needs, regularly monitoring progress to adjust interventions as necessary.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and any required reports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Collaborate effectively with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to create holistic treatment plans and optimize mental health outcomes.

• Provide guidance and support to clients through evidence-based interventions aimed at promoting safety, symptom reduction, and overall mental wellness.

• Facilitate the referral process by connecting clients to appropriate resources and other mental health professionals, ensuring a seamless experience through effective communication.

• Engage in mentorship activities, offering practical training and support for students, interns, and other team members.

• Participate in clinical supervision and peer reviews, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and shared knowledge within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with diverse populations facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Our clients are individuals seeking support to enhance their quality of life. You will play a crucial role in helping these individuals navigate their mental health journeys through personalized care that respects their unique backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical documentation tools.

• Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds as necessary, while maintaining a workspace free from blood-borne pathogens.

• Minimum of two years of direct mental health counseling experience.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a telehealth setting is a plus.

• Previous work with specific demographics or populations, such as children, the elderly, or culturally diverse groups, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
