Work Environment

This position is rooted in an onsite home care setting, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies that enhance the patient experience and improve care delivery. Collaborating closely with leading dermatologists and an interdisciplinary team of skincare professionals, you will be engaged in a collaborative environment that values continuous learning and innovation. Our practice operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with scheduled late shifts and occasional Saturday hours to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and thorough skin examinations.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of dermatological conditions, providing treatment options that reflect the latest medical practices.
• Perform cosmetic procedures, specifically administering Botox and dermal fillers, improving patients’ aesthetic outcomes.
• Assist with skin cancer screenings, ensuring early detection and providing post-operative care to enhance recovery and monitoring.
• Develop and deliver personalized skincare advice and treatment plans, empowering patients with knowledge to maintain their skin health.

Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree, preferably with a specialization in dermatology or a family nurse practitioner program that includes dermatological coursework.
• Current Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) credential from the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB).
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience within dermatology or a closely related specialty.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing cosmetic dermatological procedures, particularly Botox and dermal fillers.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and efficient patient documentation practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance.
