Work Environment This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while connecting with clients across various locations. The outpatient office setting supports flexible hours, enabling you to work 30 or more hours a week based on your availability. As a member of our team, you will utilize our advanced online dashboard, which streamlines scheduling, client management, and session documentation, ensuring that you can focus on delivering quality care without being bogged down by excessive paperwork. Key Responsibilities Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat, guiding them in navigating their mental health challenges. Facilitate discussions to help clients explore their emotions, develop self-awareness, and identify patterns affecting their personal and professional relationships. Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in setting realistic and achievable mental health goals. Evaluate clients' mental health conditions and craft comprehensive treatment plans utilizing evidence-based, solution-focused methodologies. Regularly update treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, ensuring personalized care is maintained. Patient Population / Client Focus At Inner Horizon Counseling, LLC, you will work primarily with pre-screened clients, focusing on stable adults with low-acuity mental health concerns. Our screening process ensures that you are matched with clients whose needs align with your specialties and preferences. You can expect to work with individuals facing a variety of challenges, but importantly, you will not be tasked with managing severe mental health cases, allowing you to provide targeted and effective support. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is mandatory. Must be fully licensed to practice independently as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). No provisional licenses or disciplinary actions are permitted. Expertise in making clinical evaluations and treatment planning, complemented by strong decision-making skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a sympathetic approach to client care. Technological proficiency is essential; familiarity with telehealth platforms is preferred. Preferred Experience Experience in an outpatient counseling setting is advantageous. Previous work with adult populations and knowledge of various therapeutic modalities will be beneficial. You should demonstrate a solid understanding of mental health issues, along with the ability to employ a range of counseling techniques to effectively address diverse client needs. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and hours worked. Weekly direct deposit for your convenience. A monthly healthcare stipend is available to full-time counselors. Minimal administrative responsibilities – all billing and paperwork will be managed by our team allowing you to focus solely on client care.
