Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Direct treatment plans focused on preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function as per each patient's unique capabilities.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the accurate implementation of the established care plan.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of client functional abilities through diagnostic assessments of muscle, nerve, and joint performance.
• Assess client home environments and make recommendations to enhance rehabilitation outcomes and encourage independence.
• Deliver prescribed physical therapy services directly within patients' homes, coordinating care with physicians as necessary.
• Administer treatments that include manual therapeutic exercises and utilize physical agents like traction and massage.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, ensuring optimal functionality for each patient.
• Document and maintain clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and case conferences to collaboratively plan and evaluate comprehensive treatment strategies for our patients.
• Educate patients and families on therapy practices, equipment usage, and the overall care plan, enhancing their engagement in the recovery process.
• Monitor and report patient progress, proposing adaptations to treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and case managers.

Preferred Experience
