We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Meridian Shine Movement Rehab & Wellness Center located in the heart of Los Angeles, California. This role involves working closely with patients to help them regain optimal mobility and functionality, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. Meridian Shine Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is a premier therapy facility dedicated to sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation. Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic technology and tools designed to support our patients' recovery effectively. We primarily serve a patient population with private medical insurance, which allows us to focus on delivering high-quality, individualized care without the constraints of broader healthcare systems. With a collaborative atmosphere, our team consists of two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, all committed to providing exceptional care.

Work Environment

The position is onsite, providing you with the opportunity to engage directly with your patients in a supportive clinic environment. You'll work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, enhancing your work-life balance while ensuring that all patients receive consistent and dedicated attention during their therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify their objectives and create individualized care plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
• Administer and manage treatments for one patient per hour, ensuring each session is productive and focused on enhancing their range of motion and functioning.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to promote healing and rehabilitation.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, maintaining comprehensive records of progress and treatment outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate the efficacy of therapies, making necessary adjustments to enhance patient results and achieve defined objectives.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing motivation and support to empower them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
• Promote evidence-based practices and remain current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and tools.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation, including athletes and everyday patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. The clinic serves a diverse demographic primarily covered by private insurance, allowing for a tailored approach to each patient while ensuring quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid license as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions or negative records.
• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic therapy, with a commitment to continuous professional education and skill development.
• Proficiency in exercise program development and manual therapy techniques.
• Comfortable utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to streamline workflow and documentation.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with a minimum of three years of clinical experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings. Experience in a home care environment is a plus, as this role may involve adapting treatments for a variety of recovery scenarios.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
