Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of students by utilizing interviews, observations, and reviewing pertinent medical records to evaluate their emotional, social, and environmental factors impacting their educational and personal development.

• Provide individual and group counseling for students and their families, targeting adjustment issues, emotional distress, and fostering cognitive and behavioral skills to enhance their school experience.

• Collaborate effectively with teachers, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to create and implement individualized treatment plans that address students' psychosocial needs.

• Facilitate access to essential community resources and support services, such as crisis intervention, support groups, and vocational rehabilitation programs to aid in students' growth and success.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school-based planning sessions to coordinate care and ensure alignment of strategies across different support systems.

• Assist with discharge planning for students transitioning out of specialized programs or into less restrictive settings, ensuring continuity of care and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily engage with school-aged children and adolescents who are experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential.
