Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate pain levels, physical function, and psychosocial factors affecting well-being.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating both pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches to pain management.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, ensuring a balance between efficacy and safety while monitoring for potential side effects or contraindications.
• Provide education to patients about pain management options, strategies for self-care, and lifestyle modifications aimed at enhancing their overall health.
• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up appointments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their feedback and clinical outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be passionate about treating a diverse patient population, ranging from those suffering from acute injuries to those with chronic pain syndromes, such as fibromyalgia or cancer-related pain. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing and currently certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license to practice in New York State.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a Pain Management setting, focused on complex pain management strategies.
• Hands-on experience with interventional pain techniques and familiarity with diagnostic imaging are highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
