Work Environment\n

This position is structured for full-time work remotely, offering you the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life effectively. Our clinic operates primarily from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, though some flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to accommodate patient needs. You will have the essential tools and resources to engage with clients comfortably from your home while still maintaining a connection with the broader clinical team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the unique needs of patients, guiding the creation of customized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to deliver group and individual therapy sessions.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups to foster a sense of community and address prevalent mental health issues.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering support and assistance during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, effective treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and age groups, further enriching your experience and the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Virginia.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge in mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated capability in conducting thorough mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, particularly to a diverse clientele.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborative teamwork.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and general computer applications to track patient progress and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
