Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to guide treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, facilitating awareness of treatment options and best practices for self-care.

• Monitor client progress diligently and adjust treatment plans as required to ensure efficacy.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary medical teams to provide integrated care.

• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical guidelines through accurate documentation of client interactions and therapy sessions.

• Participate in ongoing education, case discussions, and team meetings to stay current with developments in mood disorder treatments.

• Advocate for clients' needs and promote mental health awareness to help reduce stigma in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients suffering from various mood disorders including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your role involves providing support to vulnerable populations, such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring they receive the care they need to navigate their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
