Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and formulate comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Provide consultation and guidance in developing pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies, ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate support.

• Document client interactions and progress in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring high accountability and quality of care.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to assess client needs and outcomes effectively, contributing to continuous quality improvement.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective positive behavior support plans.
\n
• Engage in licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating commitment to the highest standards of mental health service delivery.

• Act as a liaison with state agencies, community partners, and service systems to enhance client care and support.

• Develop and maintain partnerships with local, state, and federal organizations to promote our various programs and secure funding initiatives.

• Engage in continuous personal and professional development through conferences and training sessions, enhancing skill sets and knowledge related to mental health practices.

• Promote the mission, values, and philosophy of the agency within the community, advocating for mental health awareness and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at the Woman's Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals struggling with emotional health issues, substance abuse recovery, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
