Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their mental health needs, strengths, and areas for improvement, ensuring a tailored and holistic approach to treatment.

• Develop, implement, and refine personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices that incorporate creativity and innovation, striving to help clients achieve significant milestones in their therapeutic journey.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment updates, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and company policies.

• Schedule and maintain a minimum of 20 client appointments weekly, ensuring consistent and ongoing engagement with clients to facilitate their mental health progress.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, family members, and medical professionals, to provide integrated and comprehensive care, improving client outcomes.

• Actively participate in regular staff meetings, professional development workshops, and training sessions to enhance your skills and contribute to organizational growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults with various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress, PTSD, and more. Your role will require you to adapt your therapeutic techniques to meet the unique needs of each client, promoting an inclusive and supportive environment throughout their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting is essential to ensure that you possess the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in this role.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required to ensure a foundation of clinical knowledge.

• You must hold an active licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT to practice as a mental health counselor legally.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are crucial for effectively engaging with clients and collaborating with team members.

• Proficiency in Office 365 applications and Electronic Health Record systems is necessary for effective documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum three-year experience is required, candidates with additional experience in innovative therapy modalities, such as teletherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or mindfulness-based therapies, will be viewed favorably. Further training or certification in trauma-informed care or other specialty areas is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
