Work Environment

At The Health Connection, you will work in an onsite rehabilitation center that features a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest therapeutic modalities and technology. Our typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with opportunities for flexibility to ensure a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, taking into account their medical history, pain levels, and overall functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, striving to meet each patient's unique goals.
• Apply advanced therapeutic techniques, including hands-on manipulation, therapeutic exercises, and electrical modalities, to promote pain relief and improve movement.
• Educate patients and their families about proper body mechanics, posture, and proactive injury prevention strategies.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with medical doctors, occupational therapists, and other specialists to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and the trajectory of progress throughout treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve treating a diverse range of patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals undergoing rehabilitation after surgery, and patients with chronic pain conditions. You will focus not only on restoring physical capabilities but also on fostering confidence and motivation in patients as they advance through their recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is highly preferred.
• A minimum of five years of clinical experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in current physical therapy techniques and modalities, with a commitment to continued professional development.
• Demonstrated sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in patient assessment and treatment planning.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and the interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specialized treatment techniques such as manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or aquatic therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to ensure efficient documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually.
