Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to their specific circumstances.
• Deliver personalized individual therapy aimed at fostering personal growth and emotional well-being, alongside facilitating group therapy sessions that encourage community support.
• Set collaborative therapeutic goals with clients and consistently monitor their progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Participate actively in staff meetings and peer supervision sessions to share insights, enhance skills, and stay updated on therapeutic best practices and methodologies.
• Uphold ethical and regulatory standards by maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of client interactions and treatment sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, often with access to webinars and workshops, to remain at the forefront of the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele ranges widely, including individuals, couples, families, and children from diverse backgrounds. As an LMFT at Blissful Thoughts, you will have the opportunity to work specifically with underrepresented populations, including clients of color and members of the LGBTQIA community. Understanding and respecting these diverse perspectives is crucial to providing effective, culturally competent care that leads to meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• Active LMFT license issued by the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in working with diverse populations, including experience with couples, children, and families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing therapy that incorporates cultural sensitivity and understanding of socio-economic factors affecting mental health.
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices and technology.
• A background in treatment methodologies for addiction and trauma is highly desired.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a lucrative sign-on bonus. Benefits include:
