Work Environment\n

Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms

• Create individualized treatment plans that align with each client's specific needs, aspirations, and preferences

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and healthy coping mechanisms

• Monitor client progress, track outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize mental health and well-being

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments related to mood disorders and therapeutic practices

• Maintain comprehensive, confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions to foster professional growth

• Advocate for clients and contribute to destigmatizing mental health issues in the community

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Bliss Wellness Center, you will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your therapeutic interventions will extend to vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, empowering them to overcome challenges and lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field

• Demonstrated proficiency in creating secure and trusting therapeutic relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and challenges
