Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to assess clients' psychological, emotional, and behavioral well-being.

• Document client interactions meticulously from initial consultations through treatment completion, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Develop personalized treatment plans and recovery strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing innovative techniques that foster engagement and healing.

• Monitor and assess client progress throughout their treatment, making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies as needed.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, sharing insights on intervention strategies and ensuring cohesive care for clients.

• Maintain follow-up communications with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients who may have hospital admissions, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify behaviors that could hinder recovery and implement preventative strategies to mitigate risks.

• Provide education and support to family members and primary caregivers, helping them navigate the challenges of mental health management.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our clinic, you will be working with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• A minimum of years of experience working as a mental health counselor.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, with a preference for experience with AVATAR.
\n
• A solid understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with best practices outline by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic demeanor towards clients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
